Your job in the company will be to write engaging, sales-driven content for a wide range of small businesses. You will put your SEO skills to work, ensuring that your pages rank well on Google and increase web traffic for our clients.

Start Date: ASAP

Full time - Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm, EST

1. One Windows PC with two monitors, a mouse and keyboard or a Windows Laptop

Role and Responsibilities

· Every week you will write 30 pages of high-quality, industry-specific content

· Understand our content marketing strategy and be able to write coherently within those constraints

· Write for the tone and voice specific to industries as varied as construction, massage, law, insurance, roofing, commercial electrical, plumbing, painting, and more

· Adhere to company’s guidelines

· Manage multiple projects and deadlines

· Write additional copy required by the Content Department, including but not limited to: newsletters, social media posts, blog articles, internal communications.

· Write high-engagement social media copy, including the use of hashtags

· Adapt from creative briefs and feedback and iterate content as required

· Create persuasive, creative copy for landing pages, home pages, services pages, blogs, etc.

· Write SEO-optimized blogs to attract readership and leadership

· Assist in creating newsletter content

Qualifications and Education

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communication, marketing, or a relevant combination of education and experience

· Excellent writing skills with an ability to translate on-brand content

· Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

· Multitask, deadline-driven

Preferred Skills

· Minimum 6 months’ experience in content writing and/or social media

· Organized and articulate

· Detail-oriented

Desired Skills

· Thorough understanding of SEO and social media

· Proficiency in MS Office
